Agree or disagree: Christopher Nolan is the most important director of the 21st century?

Nearly everyone is familiar with Inception and Dark Knight, and people
on this section know Memento and the Prestige. His films are
constantly praised and loved by both the public and critics, and I'm
sure to see his influence on future films. I'm leaning on the agree
side, because I can't find a more vital or important director.

So.... Would you agree with someone if they said Christopher Nolan is
the most important director of the 21st century?

Important in this case, will mean the director that's producing the
most interesting and groundbreaking movies.
